This Privacy Policy explains how Danvi (“Danvi”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you use the Danvi iOS app (the “App”). If you have questions, contact us at dreamifylabs@gmail.com.
1. What we collect
1.1 Photos and media you choose
When you generate a video, the App processes the photo you select. To generate the output, your photo is uploaded to secure storage and sent to our video generation provider.
1.2 Face data
What we collect: When you upload a photo to create a dance video, the photo may contain face data (facial images and facial features). This data is collected solely from the photos you explicitly choose to upload.
How we use it: Face data is used exclusively to generate AI-powered dance videos. The facial features from your photo are analyzed and animated to create dance movements synchronized with choreography. No biometric authentication, identification, or facial recognition is performed.
Third-party sharing: Your uploaded photos, including any face data, are shared with our AI video generation provider (fal.ai) to process and generate the requested video. fal.ai processes this data on our behalf and does not use it for any other purpose. The data is also temporarily stored in Firebase Storage (Google Cloud Platform) during processing.
Retention period: Face data in uploaded source photos is retained temporarily during video generation and is automatically deleted within approximately 1 hour after processing completes. Generated videos containing animated versions of your face data are stored for approximately 3 days so you can view and download them, then automatically deleted. You can manually delete videos earlier through the App's gallery.
No sale or advertising use: We do not sell face data or use it for advertising, marketing, or any purpose other than generating your requested dance videos.
1.3 Generated videos
Generated videos are stored so you can view, download, and save them. You can delete videos from within the App.
1.4 Device identifier for credits and abuse prevention
The App uses a device identifier to manage free credits and prevent repeated free‑trial abuse. On iOS, this identifier may be stored locally (for example, in Keychain) so it can persist across reinstalls. This identifier is not used for advertising and is not shared for cross‑app tracking.
1.5 Usage and diagnostics
We may collect basic usage and diagnostic information (for example, feature usage, timestamps, and error logs) to operate and improve the App.
2. How we use information
- Provide the service: generate and deliver videos you request.
- Operate credits and subscriptions: track credits, purchases, and entitlements.
- Safety and integrity: prevent abuse, fraud, and repeated free‑trial exploitation.
- Support: respond to user requests and troubleshoot issues.
3. Sharing and third parties
We use the following service providers to operate the App:
- Firebase (Google) for anonymous authentication, database/storage, and server functions.
- fal.ai (or similar AI processing providers) to generate the requested videos.
- RevenueCat to manage in‑app subscriptions and entitlements.
- Apple to process payments (when applicable) and provide platform services.
These providers process data on our behalf for the purposes described above. We do not sell personal information.
4. Data retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. As part of the App’s design:
- Uploaded source photos may be stored temporarily to complete processing and are typically deleted automatically within about 1 hour.
- Generated videos may be stored temporarily so you can view and download them and are typically deleted automatically within about 3 days.
- You can delete videos in the App; deletion requests are processed as soon as possible.
5. Your choices
- Photos permissions: you can grant or revoke Photos access in iOS Settings.
- Delete content: you can delete generated videos from within the App.
- Contact us: request help or deletion via dreamifylabs@gmail.com.
6. Children’s privacy
Danvi is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. International users
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to ensure appropriate protections are in place.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above.
